Harvard System

  • In the body of text you need to clearly detail the name of the author and the year their work was published - citation.
  • The reader should then be able to cross-reference this to a more detailed list at the end, 'Reference list/Bibliography"

Good sources and bad sources

  • Age (Check the date)
  • Credibility (do you trust it)
  • Referenced by others (is the source well known)
  • Publication Site (where did you get it)
  • Methodology?Sample (how was it made)
  • Are the findings Supported (Do other like it)
  • Author credentials. (brand)
